R-410A, also known as Puron, is an HFC refrigerant widely used in air conditioning and heat pump systems. It became a popular replacement for R-22 and is designed for equipment built to handle its higher operating pressure.

R-410A has very low temperature glide and minimal fractionation, making it well suited for systems specifically designed for this refrigerant. R-410A should only be used in equipment approved by the manufacturer for R-410A.
